:: Adult Education. There's a lot of post graduate and short course programs available in Australia to suit your aspirations and further development.

Whether you're looking at taking on a full time MBA program or wanting to taste a little Ancient Greek History [especially with the Athens Olympics in front of mind] you can usually find a program close to you that can provide the level of education you want.

:: Have you made up you mind as to what program you want to undertake?
I'm sure you've had a good think about what you want to do. It's sometimes a little difficult to chose which program will best suit what you are trying to get out of further education.

You will find that different programs from different styles of schools offering Adult Education will suit you depending on whether you're trying to get the next promotion in your job, wanting to network with like minded people from within your industry or just delve deeper into an area of interest [like photography or Ancient Greek].

:: Things to think about?
> How much of your time and effort will this course take? [an MBA @ The Melbourne Business School or one at the Australian Graduate School of Management]

> Will you be able to get to the course after or before work? [do you travel into the city or will a suburban institution be more accessible]

> How long is the course and how many units will you have to do to get a certificate, diploma or postgraduate degree?

>How much will the course cost [including lost wages for attending the course, travel, accomodation, and most importantly time away from friends and family]

> Does the program allow you to take it at your own pace in completing modules? [allowing you to manage your time and funds to complete a course]

:: Things to be aware of?
>Undertaking any type of course or learning program can lead to a healthy mind, renewed energy and inspiration towards the area of study. [you might end up demanding more from your work environment or get so passionately involved in your area of interest that you do something extraordinary in it beyond your expectations]

>Learning is a life long engagement, either formally or in our day-to-day activities and we can never have enough of it [but certainly be aware of how a formal course can be a drain on the time you spend with valued family and friends - "learn responsibly"...
